Winners crowned in Senior Games billiards, bocce tournaments

The Bucks County Senior Games held a billiards tournament June 5 at the James E. Kinney Senior Center, Richboro.

In the men’s division, age 70-79 category, the gold medal winner was Dale Carlen; Dominick DiSalvo won silver and the bronze medal went to George Stevenson. In the age 80-89 category, the gold medal winner was Bob Lawrence; silver went to Ron Mokos and Mike Short claimed bronze.

In the women’s division, the gold medal winner was Marie Rutola; silver went to Marie Wallace and Cathy Papp captured bronze.

Two days after the billiards tournament, community members competed in the Senior Games bocce tournament.

In the men’s division, age 60-69 category, Craig Fisher was the gold medal winner. The gold medalist in the age 70-79 category was Bill Johns, with Pete Palestina capturing silver and Mike Schnitzer claiming bronze. In the age 80-89 category, the gold medal winner was Cibilno Fetzer and the silver medalist was Bob Lawrence.

In the women’s division, age 60-69 category, Mary Ann English captured gold and Irene Fischer won silver. The age 70-79 category gold medal winner was Carolyn Collins, silver went to Liz Foley and Rosemary Bradley captured bronze. In the 80-89 category, the gold medal winner was Anne Marie Bertolino and the silver medalist was Ruth Hauler. In the 90-plus category, Sally Tosti won gold.
