The Republican platform has been approved and paints a picture of what the next four years look like if Donald Trump wins.

Trump says the convention is “a chance to bring the whole country, even the whole world, together.” That’s ambitious, but not realistic.

Read the platform, then ask “Who is Trump speaking to?”

I don’t think he’s trying to appeal to all Americans or the world. If you take this literally, which I assume the Republican National Committee does, this platform is full of fantasy. It’s not moving us forward and these are promises that do not describe a country and world coming together.

However, this is what the next four years will look like if the Trump party wins the election.
